Full responsibility for operating a TRUMPF CNC bending machine, including setup, programming, precise bending according to technical drawings, ongoing quality control, and compliance with the factory’s production and safety requirements.


 

Main Responsibilities

  • Operate TRUMPF CNC bending machines (such as TruBend or TruBend Center).
  • Set up and replace tools; perform machine setup for bending programs according to material type and sheet thickness.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and production plans to determine angles, radii, and bending directions.
  • Perform quality inspections, measurements, and compare results to required specifications.
  • Identify machine malfunctions, report issues, and carry out routine maintenance (cleaning, lubrication, tool replacement).
  • Maintain safety, quality, and cleanliness procedures in the work area.
  • Work independently or as part of a production team while meeting deadlines.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Proven experience of at least 5 years operating CNC bending machines (preferably TRUMPF).
  • Proficiency in reading technical drawings and understanding production specifications.
  • Knowledge and understanding of TRUMPF computerized control systems (TruTops / Delem / Siemens).
  • Familiarity with raw materials such as steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
  • High attention to accuracy, responsibility, and adherence to quality standards.
  • Willingness to work in shifts as required.
  • Basic command of technical Hebrew and ability to read measurement units (mm, degrees, radius).

Advantages

  • Experience in CNC bending machine programming.
  • Familiarity with CAD/CAM design software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, TruTops Boost).
  • Professional certification in machining or manufacturing (Technician / Practical Engineer in Mechanical Engineering).
  • Experience working according to ISO 9001 or 5S procedures.
  • Crane or forklift operating license.
