We are seeking an experienced SolidCAM Programmer & CNC Machine Operator to join our precision machining team in Israel.
You will be responsible for programming and operating 5-axis Haas, 3-axis Doosan VMC, and Doosan Turning Centers to produce high-precision components.
This role combines SolidCAM expertise with hands-on CNC operation skills, ensuring quality, efficiency, and innovation in every machined part.
• Create, simulate, and optimise CNC programs using SolidCAM integrated with SOLIDWORKS.
• Apply 2.5D, 3D HSM, iMachining 2D/3D, 4-axis, 5-axis, and Turning modules.
• Develop and validate programs for Haas 5-axis milling, Doosan 3-axis VMC, and Doosan turning centers.
• Utilise Machine Simulation and Collision Detection to verify tool-paths and machine kinematics.
• Configure post-processors and generate G-code specific to Haas and Doosan controls (Fanuc/HASS).
• Maintain a structured library of CAM programs, setup sheets, tooling data, and revision records.
• Set up and operate Haas 5-axis and Doosan 3-axis VMC machines, and Doosan CNC turning centers.
• Load and verify SolidCAM programs, perform tool presetting, offsets, and first-article inspection.
• Conduct in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and CMM (if applicable).
• Troubleshoot tool wear, chatter, and surface finish issues; adjust feeds/speeds as needed.
• Collaborate with quality, tooling, and production engineering teams to optimise performance.
• Analyse cycle times and machining parameters using SolidCAM iMachining Wizard.
• Recommend and implement improved machining strategies, tooling, or fixturing to reduce downtime and cost.
• Participate in process documentation
• Minimum 5 years of SolidCAM experience programming both milling and turning machines.
• Proficiency in SolidCAM iMachining (2D/3D), HSM and HSS modules, and 4/5-axis machining.
• Experience operating Haas 5-axis, Doosan VMC, and Doosan Turning Centers.
• Strong understanding of GD&T, machining tolerances, and CAD/CAM data interpretation.
• Knowledge of tool selection, fixture design, and cutting parameter optimisation.
• Hands-on familiarity with Fanuc and Siemens control systems.
• Good English communication skills.
• Willingness to work in Israel long-term.
Education:
• High School Diploma (mandatory)
• Technical Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Production, or Manufacturing Engineering (preferred)
Software & Systems:
• SolidCAM integrated with SOLIDWORKS
• Understanding of post-processor setup for Haas and Doosan machines
• Familiarity with DNC or CAM data management systems

Location: Plant floor (occasional office programming)
Hours: 07:00–16:30, with possible overtime or weekend shifts
